The Color Run, Doha - 2017

We are Team Dorsch! We are supposedly 6 members, one of our Malaysian colleague named Nicole didn't make it due to the late night Chinese New Year celebration.

We have been preparing for the event in weeks. Therefore, on the final day, TODAY, we left our homes at 5:00 am, can you imagine how excited we were? Lol. Yes, we were super excited.

We were a little bit lost finding the actual location of the event due to the huge construction on the way to Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC). So, being that early was worthy as it gives us ample time for any unforeseen circumstances that may arise at anytime. We reached QNCC at 6:30 am.

We agreed to protect our properties, LoL. We nicely wrapped our car for any colors or stain from the event. Well done team!
Prevention is better than cure.

At the parking, we got ourselves ready, packed personal stuffs and fixed the provided colorful body tattoos to our skin.  As it was my first time in the area, I recorded where I parked my car (G C11).

This event is full of fun. We enjoyed every music, the DJ did an awesome job! The sound engineers were great in producing a precise and clear sound even if you are far away.

Jo's Bridal Shower

I believe that a friend is someone who understand your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.

I've known Jo since June 2010. Like ordinary friends, we have our ups and downs. There are times that world wasn't in favor to us. But we managed to handle them and remain believing in each other.
Thank you for those countless times, you comforted me when no one else could.

Jack and I

I am not really a hard drinker. For some reason, Jack was enticing me and calling for my attention. So I sat beside him and laid my head on his shoulder... Ahhh... wasn't that romantic? (Husband was getting jealous!)

He is almost an attraction to any huge airport I traveled. This concept is very appealing to the passengers. A simple selfie gesture can promote his amazing product.

See you again soon, JD!

Dubai Miracle Garden

Husband and I booked our travel to Dubai from Doha just to see the Miracle Garden of the United Arab Emirates. I read so many good reviews and feedback about the garden and it gave me more reason to convinced my husband to hit the plane and see it with our own eyes.

After our early morning flight, we arrived Dubai at 8:30 am.  We rented a car and arranged to visit the garden first thing in the morning.

I drove from Dubai International Airport Terminal 1, took the road to Jebel Ali (Abu Dhabi) and entered the highway (E11) Sheikh Zayed Road for 36 kms; exited E11 the same Exit for the Mall of the Emirates (MOE) to Al Barsha (Umm Suqeim). We took D63 highway all the way to Miracle Garden. If you notice that you are already in highway 311, it means you miss the Miracle Garden.

The road to the garden is still under construction, but road's signage are present so getting lost is not an option... LoL. We arrived early and we noticed that there are ample parking available in the area.

Husband and I bought two tickets for AED 80.00

Timings:
Weekdays: 9:00 to 21:00
Weekends and Holidays: 9:00 to 23:00

Rates:
Adults - AED 40.00
Children - 3 to 12 years old: AED 30.00
2 years old and below | Guest with disabilities - Free

After having our entrance ticket, we entered the garden.

The way to the Gate 1
Lo and behold! My jaw literally dropped! This place is really a Garden of Miracle. Beautiful concepts with bright colors of flowers. Amazing.

There are lots of personnel/staffs working in the garden who guard every flowers. They are very strict, that is because of some people who doesn't really care and purposely touches the flower while others are stepping and picking them.

We spent around 3 hours roaming around the area.

As the day gets older, crowd begins to flock.
This place is worth a visit! We will surely be back before it closes down for the summer. Well done, Dubai.
